Move COPY to a new phone
Your recovery key brings your friends and channels back.
Install COPY on the new phone and enter your recovery key. Your friends and channels come back.
Restore
- Install COPY.
- On the welcome screen, tap Already have a walkie? Restore it.
- Paste or type your 24 words and tap Restore.
- In Settings, tap Restore Purchases to bring back devices you bought.
What your friends see
Your recovery key restores the same COPY identity. Your friends don’t need to add you again.
If it doesn’t work
- “That’s not a valid 24-word recovery key.” Check that you’ve entered all 24 words in the right order.
- “No walkie matches this recovery key.” Check you’re using the recovery key from your previous COPY setup. Deleted accounts can’t be restored.
