Software lost
its soul.

Somewhere between the analytics dashboards and the engagement funnels, we forgot that software could have a point of view. That it could be made with taste, with intention, with personality, the way Dieter Rams made a radio or Teiyu Goto designed the ps1 and controller. The best makers have always believed that form and function aren't at war... They're in love. And that love is what once made software feel like it was yours. We skinned our media players. We cared what our tools looked like. Software had a point of view, and it invited you to have one too.

That spirit disappeared. Replaced by optimization for one more click, one more minute, one more subscription. Software stopped being a tool you pick up and became a channel that won't shut up.

We think there's a better way. Software that does its job and gets out of your way. Playful without being needy. Yours to make your own, not because personalization is a feature, but because ownership is the point.

That's why we built Copy. A device with twelve channels for each of your friends. Change the channel by turning the dial. Hold down and talk. Let go and it's sent. They hear your voice, and then it's gone. No accounts. Private and encrypted. Skin it, make it yours.

We're almost ready. Leave your email and we'll let you know when it's time.
